Second semester - Winter

Winter season started with the Christmas markets. There are no better way to get in the festive mood than to go to Zurich, Basel or Montreux.

Winter season is also the perfect season to go skiing, snowboarding, iceskating or snowshoeing. All this snow was literally the heaven for winter sports lovers as me. I tried to go as far as possible to ski given that the ski resorts were not so far away from Bolligen.

This season represents also the opportunity to attend to one of the 4 famous World Cup in Switzerland. Switzerland has some top sunny spots in the Alpine Ski World Cup calendar at Adelboden, Crans-Montana, St. Moritz and Wengen. These classics offer a magnificent sporting spectacle in the snow.

However there is not only the possibility to go skiing, but also to go on snowshoe hikes or eat fondue with friends in the Alps, enjoying the spectacular mountain scenery and its surroundings. So don't forget to bring winter clothes to keep you warm!
